are the oil cooler lines on a 90 housing coming from the filter as filtered oil or straight from the pan?

Not to much info out there on these turbo. Or at least any relating info to compare with. Everyone is hyped up about hx40. and some say s362ett. Just wondering what do yous think? Need to buy one soon. Cant find max boost or anything out there. Thanks in advance.

What would be the cons of using an intercooler as a radiator. Its not like you can't route the piping to still be gravity feed to water pump. The only thing I can think of is being to thick. Hard to find an intercooler that is 2 inch thick.lol.
