I have spent days trying to source the sizes of the crossmember bolts on all three beams, not to mention absolutely no luck from the dealer. Today I came across all of the bolt measurements on accident and I wanted to put them all here so you...

That's a lot for 950cc's. I got used ones from FIC that were 1600cc, low Z and were only $150.

I modified my dash a while back to use a single LED strip for my custom faces and I removed all the bulbs since they were no longer required and would provide too much lighting. Didn't know if this would break the circuit if they were missing...

If the cluster didn't have any bulbs in it, do you think that might cause the issue?

The 1G VSS is a magnetic reed switch in the speedometer in the cluster. Along with turning the gears for the meter and odometer the cable spins a magnet that causes the reed switch to open and close connecting the signal from the ECU to ground...

I am having a new issue where ECMLink isn't getting a speed reading, but my speedometer on the dash is working just fine. The code 0024 is popping up in Link without a CEL and I'm not 100% sure what the deal is.The cable going from the...

It probably didn't help, but never ever force a transmission into gear; it will either damage the hub and slider(s), the gear(s), the synchro, the springs/keys, or the shift fork(s).Get the pedal assembly fixed, then back out the master...

A big thank you to everyone for your input. I went ahead and attached the wires going to the fuse on the upper stud and I am now getting the 14v I wasn't getting before.

As you note these are two different alternators. My 91 looked like the top version. While you can use the second post to ground the alternator I believe it was used to secure the cable harness so it didn't bounce around from the factory.

I'm still confused on why the design is different and why the one I am removing has the B on the bottom instead of on top like all the others I have do. Bad luck of the reman draw I suppose? I already had a supplemental ground wire going to the...

On all alt's the post that is insulated is B+ (goes to battery positive). The alt casing is always ground and is usually connected to battery negative through its mounting to the engine/frame. Some alts also have a negative post to connect a...
